NVIDIA Stock Price | NVIDIA, the world’s largest chip company, on Friday (September 8) announced partnerships with two large Indian business groups. These include Reliance Industries and The Tata Group. This partnership will not only be an important step towards building India’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure, but will also help in re-skilling and uplifting technology talent in the country at large.

NVIDIA to work with Reliance Industries

NVIDIA said it will work with Reliance Industries to create India’s own Foundation Large Language Model (LLM), which will be trained in various languages of the country. This Large Language Model (LLM) will be for India, which can create various generative AI tools in the country.

“The companies will work together to create an AI based infrastructure,” both companies said in official statement. Which will be even more powerful than the fastest supercomputer in India today.’

“The AI infrastructure supported by NVIDIA, the telecom unit of Reliance Industries, is a new expansion in AI for Reliance Jio Infocomm,” Reliance said in a statement.

Under the partnership between the two companies, NVIDIA will provide Jio with end-to-end AI supercomputer technology that includes CPU, GPU, networking and frameworks for building AI operating systems and AI models. Jio company AI will manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure.
